Now as you can tell by the title, this one claims to have (almost) identical features to #1 on this list. And yet, it’s substantially cheaper. Unfortunately, there are some negative reviews. Here’s what we garnered from the negative ones…

 

  • They all claim that the unit broke after a couple of uses
  • They all claim that Weed Eater gave them a hard time when they tried to repair it
  • All of the reviews are pretty old – 2011, 2012, etc.

 

Now, onto the good. The rest of the reviewers don’t mention anything about the unit breaking. In fact, they all claim that it has lasted them a while, and some of them even claim that it performed better than the more expensive models that are available on Amazon.

 

Conclusion: Weed Eater had some problems with this unit in the past, but they appear to be sorted out. Get this model if you’re looking for a lightweight gas leaf blower (it weighs just above eight pounds) that can get the job done without breaking the bank.
